At Cliff Drive, you can find nearly five miles of paved road that winds around beautiful rock and forested landscape. Every weekend, the Drive is open only to bikes and pedestrians looking for a unique path that’s conveniently located at the North end of Kansas City, but feels like a whole other world.

Scarritt Renaissance Neighborhood Association

Scarritt Renaissance is one of the oldest parts of Kansas City, and with hundreds of acres of wooded public park space, we’re “Kansas City’s backyard playground”. Whether you enjoy great city parks with walking trails through the woods, the Kansas City Museum, fabulous car free weekends on Cliff Drive, biking, skateboarding, rollerblading, running, disc golf, rock climbing, fishing, hiking, even metal detecting, Scarritt Renaissance has something for you. Scarritt Renaissance is Kansas City’s Backyard Playground!


KC Flying Disc Club

The Kansas City Flying Disc Club hosts a league at Cliff Drive every Monday night.

Registration is at 5:30.

On the first Monday of most months, the league does travel to Blue Valley Park also in the Historic Northeast.  Check out the activities page for a map of the course.

Earthriders

ERTA (Earth Riders Trails Association, Inc.) is a recreational trails advocacy group created to increase the quantity and quality of sustainable singletrack trails throughout the Midwest.

They hold community workdays in Kessler Park one Saturday a month.
