At Cliff Drive, you can find nearly five miles of paved road that winds around beautiful rock and forested landscape. Every weekend, the Drive is open only to bikes and pedestrians looking for a unique path that’s conveniently located at the North end of Kansas City, but feels like a whole other world.

Tour of Kansas City

Tour of KC is a three-day cycling festival celebrating health and wellness in Kansas City while promoting the culture of cycling with opportunities for every level of bicycle enthusiast from the novice to the fastest professional cyclists.  Cyclists will want to participate in weekend rides, including the region's first Gran Fondo. Families will want to be part of the action by participating in the Kids Bike Races and joining the Block Parties.

In the spirit of “The Golden Age of Bicycles” , BikeWalkKC cordially invites you to attend in the fourth annual Kansas City Tweed Ride – Velocipede & Tweed Indeed! Please join us on Saturday, October 5, 2013 at Cliff Drive, Kessler Park in Kansas City, MO for an afternoon of sophisticated social revelry upon the most marvelous machines ever devised by man. Register here.

We will congregate at the Colonnade at the intersection of St. John Avenue and Gladstone Blvd.  at 10 a.m., with the ride to commence at approximately  11 a.m..  Dress in your finest turn of the century era wools, tweeds, silks and argyles*. Riders, and their machines, will have the opportunity to be judged and awarded prizes based on appearance, authenticity, originality, and creativity.

Community Harvest in the Park

Presenting the first annual Community Harvest in the Park: a neighborhood celebration at Cliff Drive/Kessler Park to benefit Jerusalem Farm.

Community Harvest in the Park will start with a disc golf event at Cliff Drive Disc Golf Course (event includes competitive and non-competitive divisions), for more information on the tournament or to register, click here.

At 11am the rest of the celebration begins with food, live music, and games for kids. We will have booths for local non-profits to share what they offer to the community as well as a harvest farmers market. A raffle will take place at 3pm with Northeast area and harvest themed prizes.

The park will be open for all to come and enjoy free music and kids games. Food, festival t-shirts & discs, a mini-disc golf course, raffle tickets, and farmer’s market goodies will be available for purchase.
